J.Crew Critter Jewelry: Frog or Giraffe?

I typically don't fall for the out-there jewelry with the animal themes, but I'm really loving the ones offered right now... unfortunately because they are so freakin' pricey...

Anyway, I've got to decide which one of the necklaces to keep from this collection.... or possibly a bracelet... let me know what you think!  The weight and the colors on all items are so nice ... err, this is going to be tough for me so I'm looking for some good input!

I didn't expect to like this as much as I do...

Or I could do the matching bracelet - but not both...

I kind of love the contrasting black and ivory with the brown resin ... might be about to wear this with more?

Let me know what you think!  Have you purchased any 'critter' jewelry this season?  Which is your favorite and why?

  1. I saw the giraffe one and I was tempted, I think the colors make it more versatile than the frog. But truth to be told, I really don't like that citrony yellow of the frog one.

  2. Yeah, they messed up w/that citron color. It's just a little off. I think I like the bracelet best of the frog option. That's my favorite of the 3 pieces.

  3. I like the frog more, even though the giraffe will go with more.

  4. Little froggy bracelet sold out in record time yesterday! Both color ways too! Thanks for your pics...I bought both......you might make a little extra if you sold the bracelet on eBay. ......or keep it for yourself...that's what I would do.

  5. Oh my goodness! I'm desperately trying to find the frog bracelet and it's completely sold out! If you decide not to keep it, I will take it off your hands! Email me at edwards3@live.com, thanks! You have excellent taste my dear!

  6. I must confess that I bought them all, lol. The frog, in necklace (blue) and bracelet (yellow) and the giraffe necklace, as well as the giraffe bracelet and the ram bracelet. I thought these were the best "for fun" pieces at JC in a while! Which did you keep???
